TSA Extends Mask Rule for Airline Passengers into January 2022

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is extending a requirement that people on airline flights and public transportation wear face masks to limit the spread of COVID-19.  The current order was scheduled to expire on September 13.  The mask mandate will be extended until January 18, 2022.  The rule applies to travelers on public transportation including airplanes, trains, buses, and subways.
