On the afternoon of Thursday, September 18, 2025, beginning at 1:30 p.m. and ending at 5:00 p.m., the Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) staff at the Billings Logan International Airport will be performing an operational training exercise that will produce visible smoke at the Airport campus. Please note that this is a planned, FAA mandated and controlled operational training exercise. These types of training exercises are performed on a regular basis at the Airport and are routine in nature.
